kibero is proud to announce the successful delivery of an acoustic microscopy platform to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. The system was installed at the MIT Clinical Research Center to support novel biomedical research interests at MIT. Presently, the system will be incorporated in the research work of Dr. Xiang Zhang and Rebecca Zubajlo, to investigate cell and tissue properties using acoustics.

kibero GmbH and Biotimes Technology Limited are proud to announce the successful delivery of an acoustic and photoacoustic correlative microscopy platform to Nanjing, China. The system was installed at the institute of Advanced Materials (IAM) of the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The system will be incorporated in the research scheme of the group of Professor Quli Fan, who is working on semiconductiong nanoparticles for biomedical applications. He will be using the system for investigating nanoparticulate systems for photoacoustic imaging and photodynamic and photothermal therapy.

The London based National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and kibero GmbH signed a cooperation agreement for research and development of signal analysis and characterization methods of acoustic and photoacoustic microscopy data. The research is focused on quantitative analysis of tissues and cells and will be making use of the combined high resolution easySAM / easyPAM acoustic and photoacoustic imaging platform installed by kibero at NPL.
